Haydn received a first-class BEng in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Sheffield in 2018, followed by an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh in 2019. He has worked in Sainsbury’s data science team and subsequently as an ML engineer at a Cambridge spin-out startup in Biotechnology. In October 2023, he joined the Connected Photonic and Electronic Systems CDT at the University of Cambridge, where he began his MRes and PhD. His current research focuses on the "Investigation of biocomputing with mycelium-on-chip."
