Dr. Peng Dai is a research associate in the Centre for Photonic Devices and Sensors (CPDS). He received his PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton in 2023. During his PhD, he focused on machine learning-based nanophotonics inverse design, especially on structural colour. In 2024, he joined CPDS, focusing on the research of optical computing and diffractive neural networks.
