Marco Astarita, is a Ph.D. candidate at the Politecnico di Milano in the Department of Physics, currently visiting student at the University of Cambridge the CPDS group. He graduated from the University of Naples Federico II, where he completed his bachelor's and master's degrees in Physics of Matter/Optics. Currently, he is working at the Smart Eyewear Lab in collaboration with Essilor-Luxottica. His current research centres on computer-generated holography for augmented reality applications. Previous works focused on computer-generated holo-lithography on photosensitive polymers. He is interested in CGH, holo-lithography, photosensitive polymers, HOEs, CGH algorithms, optical simulations, holography, and augmented reality.
